How it Started
Munchyhub began in 2020, right in our home kitchen, because we couldn’t shake this urge to feed people while lifting their spirits. It was during the COVID-19 pandemic, a time when everything felt heavy and distant, so we just wanted to do something real for others.
We started baking our treats, made with love, high-quality ingredients, and healthier recipes, to reach thousands struggling, stuck at home, or cut off during the lockdowns.
Then came the moment that changed everything: we saw how much people lit up for something better than the ultra-processed sweets out there. People didn’t just like our treats, they valued them, choosing quality over quantity, and that set the first sparks of our mission.
What kicked off in a shaky, uncertain time turned into something deeper, a mission built on hope, resilience, and the beauty of people coming together.
Gina Istrate
Gina is the heart and soul behind Munchyhub, the founder who turned a kitchen dream into reality.
As the main chef and baker, she leads the charge on research & development, crafting most of our product offerings with a keen eye for quality.
With a background in hospitality, she brings warmth and expertise to every treat, while overseeing operations to ensure everything stays true to our mission.
Peter Istrate
Peter leads with over a decade of business experience, keeping Munchyhub on course for growth and innovation as the main co-founder.
He’s a powerhouse in marketing, tech development and business management.
His ability to see the big picture brings clarity, and keeps our team moving forward, blending new ideas with a passion for getting our treats into the right hands.

Larisa brings a deep-rooted background in hospitality to Munchyhub, matched by her talents as a chef and baker.
With her sharp skills and steady dedication, she’s the glue that binds our team together.
